Orchard Cottage is secluded and set in open countryside adjoining the owners’ home. From the dining table in the bay window and beyond the apple trees, guests can enjoy views of Ulverston’s Hoad Monument and the distant Lakeland fells.
At the rear of the property the private deck has views over our private field and across local farm land.
The pine kitchen leads into a light and spacious living area with pine ceilings and maple floors. A feature fireplace made with local green slate houses a wood-burning stove: ideal for those cosy nights by the fire.
The bedroom with views across the wooded copse and private field.
With two electric car charging points Orchard Cottage can offer a recharge to those guests who need a top-up.
While the majority of guests to Orchard Cottage love the cosy feel of the place, we have had guests that did not appreciate the small shower room. We don’t like to disappoint so are keen to draw your attention to photograph of the wet room so you can decide how suitable it is for your needs – before you book.
We hope to welcome you soon.
